As you are all aware there have been significant increases in fuel prices. Also labour and equipment costs, increased traffic congestion and terminal delays have meant that we will be increasing cartage charges by a small percentage. Please note most rates have not changed for many years.
Effective July 11 2018, we will roll the current Fuel Surcharge of 17.75% into the base rate and apply a small increase.
As you are also aware the Auckland City Council have imposed a fuel tax in Auckland and accordingly Cartage jobs within or from Auckland will have a fuel surcharge of 2.75%.
